Vintage 1970's Jean Purse
These purses were super popular in the 1970's and 1980's with young girls, made from a used pair of denim jeans. Repurposing an old pair of jeans was popular with the tree huggers.
Seems like it would be popular today, but today's youth is more concerned with having the latest and greatest than carrying anything old or recycled. Sure they talk about saving the environment, but not enough to actually do more than protesting plastic straws or claiming to have saved a turtle by cutting up plastic can holders.
Great accessory for any vintage teen girl or hippy type character. Yes, it is a hippy purse.
